Some things to take away:
- FX: full frame, like the film used in film cameras
- DX: smaller sensor, but still produces quality images
- The smaller the sensor size, the lower the image quality. The smaller sensor sizes have a larger depth of field.
- The sensor size determines the amount of light gathered and the image quality.
